it's autumn in New York it's good to live it again (NYC Pt. 4)
DAY 5 - 11/24/18
Last day of the trip. Woke up and had brunch at The Good Fork. Now I have been here before, we had dinner here during my first NYC trip. Also, we usually hit up Fort Defiance on the day I leave because they have the best french toast in town. But we decided to try something different and my taste buds were not disappointed. I recommend the Breakfast Sandwich, and it was paired with a Blood Orange Margarita that was sinfully good.
Next up on my to do list, was the second must-do item on my list. We hit up the MC Escher exhibit in Industrial City. It's one of those fabulous exhibits that consists of a lot of items, but it doesn't take too long to go through. We were there for a little over and hour and it's high on my recommendation list.

(Kai sent me this while I was there, and I died)
We went back to Red Hook and picked up Krisanne and then hit up quite possibly my new favorite place on the planet, SHIPWRECKED!
(look at this nondescript building....god bless NYC)
It is seriously the most fun time ever and if you doubt my word, they won't let you have open containers on the indoor course so you must drink your beer out of this:
(LOOK AT IT!!!)
It was so much fun and it was just me laughing like an idiot at everything as I destroyed my brother and his girlfriend in mini-golf (seriously, by like a solid 20 points). After that we came back to the apartment and finished packing up my suitcase before heading to the airport. Snapped a pic of my favorite furry nephew before I left.
(don't let the cute fool you, he's cold-blooded)
Then it was watching the Arizona/ASU game at a bar while waiting to board, and then finally heading home. I seriously listened to podcasts the entire time while flipping through different college football games. Landed late, got home even later, and thus ended my NYC adventures.
(re-reading Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman on the iPad for like the umpteenth time)
Alright folks, that's enough from me. The birthday was yesterday, NYE is tonight, and I will recap both of those at a later date. Probably in a few because I still have 6 days of Winter Break left. Later days, and have a fun and safe NYE!
