a final moment in the dead of night...

Procrastinating yet again. Life has been pretty good. Fall Break was enjoyed, and the first week back was busy but I didn't get to see any of my kids due to having to make a completely new schedule. But we got back into the swing of things this week and it's been fairly good. It definitely does not feel as chaotic as it did before, which is good. So yeah, slowly starting to not hate going to work. The social life has been kind of floundering due to school work and just not wanting to deal with people in any way shape or form. Went out last night with the girls to see the All Puppet Players version of Jaws. I have not laughed this hard in quite some time and it was just ridiculous and I can't wait to see them do Die Hard: A Christmas Story in December. If you live in AZ you should definitely check them out. Family has been alright. I asked for Superintendent approval to have the November 20th off so I can fly out to NYC that morning. Should hear back next week. Had fa...

everybody's looking for something...

So school. I'm taking Intro to ELL Learners and we have a group project due tomorrow. Starting to get stressed because I heard from my partner on Monday, and then again yesterday. I've emailed her today and have heard nothing back. This is why I hate group projects, just let me do this myself I HATE depending on other people for things. Now am I prematurely freaking out? Probably, it's honestly not going to take that long to put together. But still...annoyed factor is high. I still hate group projects. Blah. So the weather outside today was weather. Rain for almost four straight hours. I LOVED IT. Granted it looks like I have a lake in my backyard, totes worth it. I went out earlier to get the mail and it was actually cool. Finally. A reprieve from the hell that is AZ weather. Not much else going on. I'm wasting a Saturday night seeing if my partner will email me. Maybe do some non school/work writing. Ciao kids.

and still you call me co-dependent...

The work life is spiraling. There's a major schedule change coming and the work wife and I didn't receive a single email about it and had to hear about it from other teachers. I'm livid and extremely unhappy so I told my District lead to keep a heads up for schools that might have an opening because I am hating life right now. This week is Fall Break which means I get a break from the work BS. Saturday was spent at the Fair watching Kai and her belly-dancing troupe. Then it was odd food choices (caramel crack fries & hot cheetos pizza) before hanging with Carlos for a bit and meeting up with everyone after. Then yesterday Kai and I hit up the Garbage concert which was AMAZING. There were however two complaints. One, the super tall grossly affectionate couple blocking my view because they couldn't leave each other alone. And two, the bitch in front of me who videotaped THE ENTIRE FUCKING CONCERT. She too blocked my view and literally put her phone down for one song...
