Mixtape Postcards

9 days. 9 school days and then I’m free for 2 glorious weeks. Which is great, because the kids are getting squirrely because they know a break is coming and it’s making classroom management….interesting. Like I may have to resort to extreme tactics and/or bribery to survive the next 9 days. Today we went to put flowers on my grandparents grave and then had family breakfast. Came home and took the nap of all naps. Now it’s homework time, and this assignment is so tedious and likely to kill me from boredom. But it’s the last one, and then I’m done with this class. Still discovering old playlists, and I actually opened my winamp and found even more. I’m going to flood Spotify man….so much to listen to I can hardly contain myself. Okay, I’ve procrastinated enough. Time to get back to work. Later days.

I should be writing a paper for my Cultural Diversity in Education class, but here we are! I don’t know why this class has me stressed at the moment, I have a freaking 99.2% in the class, I really need to get it together. So life…it is good right now. Finally over my wretched cold thanks to science and modern medicine. Finally got my mom, Typhoid Mary, to go too. So thankfully we’re all good for the foreseeable future, and if my Mom gets me sick again you might see me flipping the fuck out and possibly on the news. I’ve been going through my old blog, and I found a slew of old playlists I had made. So I’ve been going through them and adding them onto my Spotify. I’ve been listening to them a lot at work and I’d forgotten how much I’d missed some songs. Sherwood and The Decemberists….why have I gone so long without you?
