Pedro the Lion was just on NPR Tiny Desk Concerts and said he had new music coming. Is it 2003?

I have caught a rather nasty head cold that made me stay home on Wednesday. It made me feel like I was on the mend yesterday, but I woke up today feeling like death. Why germs, why? Need to kick it soon because I go to NYC in two weeks and homie is absolutely 100% NOT playing that.

Speaking of NYC OH MY GOD I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!! I get in early Tuesday, and on Thursday we're going into the city to see the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. No concrete plans yet, but I for sure want to hit up the Whitney Museum (Andy Warhol exhibit opens next week) and this MC Escher exhibit in South Brooklyn. Plus all the food and just OMG I need it now.

As for work, I really need the students to stop being disrespectful little shits. Like even my best behaved groups have been giving me attitude and I'm so fucking over it. If I had talked to an adult like that, my mom would have whooped my ass with la chancla and made me apologize in person, and if she felt it was insincere would have whooped me again. Just....it's fucking draining my soul at this point.

Alright, I have homework so I'm going to jet. Later days.

P.S. Who else out there is watching American Horror Story? Cannot wait for the finale next week.

The work life is spiraling. There's a major schedule change coming and the work wife and I didn't receive a single email about it and had to hear about it from other teachers. I'm livid and extremely unhappy so I told my District lead to keep a heads up for schools that might have an opening because I am hating life right now. This week is Fall Break which means I get a break from the work BS. Saturday was spent at the Fair watching Kai and her belly-dancing troupe. Then it was odd food choices (caramel crack fries & hot cheetos pizza) before hanging with Carlos for a bit and meeting up with everyone after. Then yesterday Kai and I hit up the Garbage concert which was AMAZING. There were however two complaints.
