So work has been stressing me out so much that I am literally counting down the days to Fall Break. The kids won't stop getting into fights, a teacher has gotten caught in the middle of two different fights, and just...morale is bad y'all. Like, I'm trying to stay positive: next year I'm not going to get a lot of those kids (7th grade), the sixth grade class is AWESOME SAUCE, but....it's hard to keep perspective at times. Granted, it is getting better, but I'm an impatient person to begin with and I'm scared that some of our awesome staff are going to leave (my work wife is already out the door at the end of the year, don't get me started on that sadness). I have to keep reminding myself that not EVERY year is going to be the bee's knees, but if things are still crazy in December I might ask my district lead to help me find a new school. Which sucks because I don't want to do that.

Aside from work things are good. I'm currently procrastinating doing my one singular assignment due tomorrow. Seriously, I should have been finished with this HOURS ago, but I got distracted by youtube and broadway videos of all things. I need to get my life together. We had family breakfast this morning and I also discovered that the Mexican coffee shop I love moved literally across from the restaurant we always go to for breakfast. My Tia and I have already made plans to go and get some cafecito before breakfast next month.

The work life is spiraling. There's a major schedule change coming and the work wife and I didn't receive a single email about it and had to hear about it from other teachers. I'm livid and extremely unhappy so I told my District lead to keep a heads up for schools that might have an opening because I am hating life right now. This week is Fall Break which means I get a break from the work BS. Saturday was spent at the Fair watching Kai and her belly-dancing troupe. Then it was odd food choices (caramel crack fries & hot cheetos pizza) before hanging with Carlos for a bit and meeting up with everyone after. Then yesterday Kai and I hit up the Garbage concert which was AMAZING. There were however two complaints. One, the super tall grossly affectionate couple blocking my view because they couldn't leave each other alone. And two, the bitch in front of me who videotaped THE ENTIRE FUCKING CONCERT.
